About the position

The Principal Technical Product Manager for AI/ML at Vultr is responsible for shaping and driving the future of the company's GPU infrastructure offerings. This role involves collaborating with executives, technical leads, and customers to define product roadmaps, assess market opportunities, and ensure the delivery of high-performance cloud computing solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of AI/ML, GPU implementations, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and driving innovation in cloud services.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with executives on core company strategy.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and architects on product roadmaps.
  • Plan and validate required functionality with solution engineering.
  • Work directly with sales and marketing on go-to-market strategies.
  • Perform market assessment and competitive analysis.
  • Engage with customers to understand their business and technical needs.
  • Direct engineering efforts and strategies around GPU delivery.
  • Drive the technical strategy for customer-friendly GPU consumption.
  • Define the supporting software ecosystem for GPU infrastructure.
  • Work closely with hardware vendors to troubleshoot and improve implementations.
  • Define core images for cloud and bare metal deployments.
  • Help drive network architecture and GPU direct technologies.
  • Define methods for bespoke customer hardware implementations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience configuring, deploying, and managing GPU deployment.
  • 5+ years of product management or technical program management experience.
  • Solid experience with AI/ML orchestration.
  • History of driving product management requirements analysis and definition.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise and SMB technical and business requirements.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring independent time management and task prioritization.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including executives, engineering, marketing, operations, and finance.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud computing products or services.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized delivery methods.
  • Experience in customer workshops and seminars.
