About the position

The Principal Technical Program Manager will lead the AWS Event Technology Team in building and maintaining the Event Technology service catalog and roadmap. This role involves managing complex global programs to deliver results in a rapidly evolving technology domain, focusing on standardization, scale, and technical excellence across in-person and virtual event platforms. The successful candidate will oversee multiple organizational goals and program metrics, while collaborating with various teams to drive the delivery of the Event Technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the Event Technology service catalog and roadmap.
  • Manage highly complex, global programs to deliver results in a rapidly evolving technology domain.
  • Lead multi-discipline initiatives spanning websites, mobile, network, video, and onsite experiences.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in technical strategies and architectures.
  • Define the future vision for Event Technology.
  • Manage and improve AppSec/Prodsec processes.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors, Engineering, and Product teams to drive project delivery.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
