About the position

The Principal Technical Program Manager - Master Data Management and Governance will play a critical role in supporting Master Data Governance and Management within the Cloud Operation and Innovation (CO+I) team. This position involves overseeing cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment across business units, and delivering on a multi-year roadmap for various feature groups. The role requires a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in data management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance when working with Software and Hardware Engineering to design crucial technical solutions across feature areas.
• Define success criteria and create relationships for implementing multiple feature areas for crucial cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate, ensure alignment, and gain buy-in across the business for project initiatives.
• Deliver on the multi-year roadmap for multiple feature groups across divisions, leading tracking of project schedules and overseeing development of staging and implementation plans.
• Oversee governance programs and drive continuous improvement by validating use cases and writing test cases from scratch.
• Provide expertise needed for the department to collect performance metrics, oversee customer support, and define, lead, and mentor others in direct customer engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in master data management and governance projects, including latest trends, technologies, and tools (e.g., Dynamics, SAP Master Data Governance) used for procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ year of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demo).
