Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Technical Project Manager for our Linthicum, MD facility. The successful candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills; and be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers, as well as working in cross-functional teams. The responsibilities of an OPM include: Collecting and analyzing KPI information for the Production & Material Control organization, offering insights into areas of opportunity, process gaps, and best practices. Developing analytical tools and reports to provide insights into detractors impacting the material flow through the kitting and manufacturing processes, as well as mitigations that may improve flow. Organizing and improving training materials to make accessible to the community of production planners and other key roles in the organization. Providing training sessions and hosting development events as needed to address specific skill areas needed across the organization. SAP metric maintenance, i.e., Aging Orders, and Overdue hours, 'Confirmed not Delivered' orders, floor stock inventory control, and the resolving of material shortages as they're late to open production orders. This is not a Manager job. This is an individual contributor role.
