The Principal Technology Program Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic planning and execution of technology programs within the organization. This position entails a comprehensive approach to resource allocation, budget management in collaboration with the finance team, and the continuous monitoring and tracking of delivery progress. The Principal Technology Program Manager will provide thought leadership and a clear vision to ensure the successful execution of multi-year programs while maintaining financial oversight and managing relationships with partners. In this role, the Principal Technology Program Manager will support the PMO team in creating and implementing a portfolio view that aligns with GBS IT stakeholders, business units, and partners. This includes the creation and delivery of compelling presentations for WK executives and other senior leaders, as well as facilitating the tracking and reporting of divisional and business unit metrics. The manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, product, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of technology transformation projects with overall business objectives. The Principal Technology Program Manager will identify potential risks and dependencies, implement mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues to senior management as necessary. Additionally, the role involves monitoring project budgets, allocating resources effectively, and tracking expenses to meet financial objectives. Establishing quality standards and review mechanisms is essential to ensure that technology transformation projects meet performance, security, and reliability criteria. The Principal Technology Program Manager will also build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and outcomes. This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, senior executive presentation skills, and a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that the organization achieves its strategic goals.
