As a test development principal engineer in the Operations business group at Marvell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of silicon semiconductor chips produced for both internal and external customers. Your primary responsibility will be to test features on these chips, ensuring that no underperforming units are shipped out. This involves close collaboration with design teams to ensure that chip features are testable and that the results align with customer specifications. In cases where our chips exceed the capabilities of current testing equipment, you may need to write new code or develop innovative testing strategies to keep pace with advancements in technology. In your role as an ATE Engineer, you will be tasked with developing test programs and hardware on Automated Testing Equipment (ATE) for the characterization and production testing of high-performance networking semiconductor devices. You will leverage ATE equipment tools and capabilities to optimize performance while maintaining the quality of outgoing products. Additionally, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion, developing test plans and supporting various phases of manufacturing. Your responsibilities will also include the design, development, and verification of new firmware features, ensuring that all aspects of the testing process are thoroughly managed and executed.
