Responsibilities

• Define the UX vision and strategy for an emerging product with impact across Amazon.
• Analyze customer problems and oversee the design of delightful solutions that meet business goals.
• Work closely with product and business partners to develop a shared vision and lead the design process to deliver on those objectives.
• Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints/opportunities.
• Quickly iterate on user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to conceptualize new product initiatives.
• Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and levels of the organization.
• Present design work to partners and executive leadership for review, feedback, and approval.
• Mentor other designers and elevate the overall quality of the team's work.

Requirements

• 10+ years of design experience
• Available online portfolio
• Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
• Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing large-scale systems and applications
• Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
