About the position

The Principal Product Manager-Technical for AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall) is responsible for leading the development and improvement of services that protect customer applications from attacks. This role involves working closely with engineering and security teams to identify opportunities for new product launches and enhancements, ensuring the AWS WAF business grows and operates effectively. The position requires a strong technical background, analytical skills, and the ability to drive cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Grow and operate the AWS WAF business.
• Work closely with a geographically distributed team, including engineering, product, and go-to-market execution.
• Partner with product marketing, business development, and sales to drive adoption and revenue.
• Deliver innovative and iterative solutions to improve the resiliency of the global Amazon network and AWS services.
• Contribute to the overall strategy for AWS Edge Security.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 5+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products, responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through go-to-market.
