About the position

The Principal Product Manager-Technical for AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall) is responsible for leading the development and improvement of security services that protect customer applications from attacks. This role involves managing the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption and revenue of AWS WAF. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, cloud computing, and product management, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to enhance the security of AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Grow and operate the AWS WAF business.
• Work closely with a geographically distributed team, including engineering, product, and go-to-market execution.
• Partner with product marketing, business development, and sales to drive adoption and revenue.
• Deliver innovative and iterative solutions to improve the resiliency of the global Amazon network and AWS services.
• Contribute to the overall strategy for AWS Edge Security.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 5+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products responsible for the full product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical capabilities and persuasive writing skills.
• Ability to dive deep into technical details and system designs.
