About the position

The Principal Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect for Generative AI (GenAI) at AWS will play a pivotal role in shaping the Go to Market (GTM) strategy for GenAI solutions. This position involves collaborating with product owners, customers, and model producers to develop and deploy GenAI models that enhance applications across various industries. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive engagement with startups, enterprises, and AWS partners, ensuring the successful implementation of scalable GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based solutions to grow the GenAI business.
• Collaborate with product and field teams, customers, and third-party model providers to enable new capabilities for GenAI workloads on AWS.
• Conduct market sizing and build an opportunity pipeline for GenAI solutions.
• Work with customers to understand technical requirements for proof-of-concepts (POC).
• Create training content for field teams and drive thought leadership in GenAI.
• Engage with customers to define and implement scalable GenAI solutions.
• Interact with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
• Experience in developing technology solutions and guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation.
• Experience with large scale automation and workflow management.
• Familiarity with database design and implementation.
• Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills for engaging with executives and IT management.
