As a Principal Product Designer at PayPal, you will be instrumental in creating high-impact user experiences that enhance the connection between consumers and merchants. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, engineering, and product management teams to execute and deliver PayPal's products and services.
• Contribute to planning, estimating work, and coordinating broader work streams.
• Create high-quality deliverables based on product design goals and priorities.
• Leverage established product design techniques and propose new solutions or optimizations.
• Foster collaborative dynamics across disciplines and drive product design team delivery excellence.
• Lead and mentor junior product design practitioners informally.
• Rapidly prototype new user experiences and iterate to create testable concepts.
• Craft solutions focused on end-user needs and experiences.
• Innovate ways to integrate design and engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in UX or Product Design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with experience in layout, typography, and color.
• Experience with motion design and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to launch.
• Commitment to creating user-centric designs prioritizing usability and accessibility.
• Strong collaborative skills in a team-focused environment.
• A BA/BS or Master's Degree in design, user experience, research, or a related field is preferred.
