About the position

As a Customer Service Representative at Sir Speedy Printing and Marketing Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to a diverse clientele. This position involves engaging with customers both in-person and through various communication channels, ensuring their printing needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall customer experience and supporting the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in-person, over the phone, and through email to provide exceptional service.
  • Handle customer inquiries and offer expert guidance on printing options.
  • Facilitate order processing and ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
  • Prepare invoices and greet customers courteously at the front counter.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately according to company procedures.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate products and services, explaining pricing and turnaround times.
  • Handle customer complaints effectively, finding timely resolutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop rapport with prospects and build relationships with customers.
  • Process customer orders accurately, entering details into the system and confirming specifications.
  • Follow up with production and customers to provide order updates and address any changes needed.
  • Maintain the orderly appearance of the front lobby area and ensure jobs are placed correctly before leaving.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year in sales or customer service, preferably in the graphics arts industry.
  • Good communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Proficient with computers and new technology.
  • Resourceful and proactive with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to move about freely in the center to collaborate with team members.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Positive and upbeat attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Hardworking and self-motivated with excellent verbal communication skills.
