About the position

Randstad US is seeking a reliable Print Operations Technician to join their team in Beaverton, Oregon. This position is crucial for the efficient operation of the company's print centers, where the technician will be responsible for printing, fulfilling, and shipping confidential documents. The technician will ensure that all job files and packages are handled promptly and accurately, fulfilling print orders from clients and preparing documents for shipment. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under limited time requirements, making it essential for the technician to be organized and efficient in their work. The Print Operations Technician will operate various digital printing, mailing, and duplicating equipment, maintaining an inventory of printing and duplication supplies. They will also be responsible for completing delivery documentation for couriers such as FedEx or USPS, verifying shipments in delivery and courier systems, and gathering, verifying, and packing documents for shipment according to client specifications. This position is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a starting pay range of $18 to $18.50 per hour, with work hours from 8 AM to 4 PM on the first shift. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and have at least two years of experience in a similar role. The ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds and sit or stand for long periods is required. Proficiency in written and oral communication is essential, as the technician will interact with both employees and external customers. The role also demands strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Prints and constructs digital packages, incorporating inserts and other materials as necessary for shipment
  • Completes delivery documentation for couriers, i.e. FedEx or USPS
  • Verifies shipment in delivery and courier systems
  • Operates digital printing, mailing, and duplicating equipment
  • Maintains inventory of printing and duplication supplies
  • Gathers, verifies, and packs documents for shipment according to specifications requested
  • Works with limited time requirements
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of print services process
  • Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Proficiency in using PCs and general office equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
