About the position

As a Print Production Manager at Uline, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the print production process for our award-winning omnichannel marketing initiatives. Located at our corporate headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will be part of a dynamic Creative department consisting of over 160 talented team members. This position requires a hands-on approach, as you will be responsible for managing the workflow of print projects, ensuring that all materials are produced with consistent brand clarity and delivered on tight deadlines. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a collaborative environment where creativity and efficiency thrive. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of Print Production Assistants, guiding them through the scheduling, proofing, and execution of various print projects. You will also liaise with external vendors to route proofs, secure necessary approvals, and maintain accurate records throughout the production process. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial as you monitor updates and clarify proofing comments to ensure the highest quality output. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and inspiring your team to achieve high productivity levels while delivering exceptional customer service. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be vital in this fast-paced environment, where meeting deadlines is a top priority. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and manage a team of Print Production Assistants, ensuring smooth workflow, scheduling, and proofing for all print projects.
  • Work with external vendors to route proofs, secure approvals, and keep accurate records.
  • Monitor updates and clarify proofing comments to ensure top quality.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire the team to achieve high productivity and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in print production and project management.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
