About the position

The Print Production Representative at RR Donnelley is responsible for coordinating the production of printed materials and related services for clients. This role involves maintaining positive client relations throughout the manufacturing process, from initial contact to final delivery, ensuring that client requirements are met and that the production process runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between sales professionals and production teams, advocating for clients to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Provide necessary client and sales support, including issue resolution and addressing customer concerns.
  • Process orders accurately in all appropriate systems and provide client support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Gather job requirements and approvals, translating client needs into detailed manufacturing instructions.
  • Coordinate production of components with internal plants and external vendors as required.
  • Monitor job progress throughout production and confer with manufacturing to ensure final products meet client requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for timely billing and assist in determining supplies and paper needed for jobs.
  • Provide quality review for other Print Production Account Representatives to ensure accuracy before production commencement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant customer service, administrative, or operational support experience in manufacturing operations or office environment.
  • Very good knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of functional areas related to the job, including MS Office, MAC, and Google Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload.
