About the position

The Print Specialist at Youngstown City Schools is responsible for overseeing the print production process within the Choffin Career and Technical Center. This role involves managing the operation of printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining the equipment to ensure optimal performance. The Print Specialist will work closely with faculty and staff to understand their printing needs and provide solutions that meet those requirements efficiently and effectively. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality printed materials that support the educational mission of the school. In addition to managing the printing process, the Print Specialist will also be responsible for inventory management of printing supplies, including paper and ink. This includes monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring that all supplies are available when needed. The role may also involve training staff and students on the proper use of printing equipment and software, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the printing process. The Print Specialist will be expected to stay updated on the latest printing technologies and techniques, implementing new processes as necessary to improve efficiency and quality. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the educational environment by providing timely and accurate printing services to the school community.

Nice-to-haves
