About the position

The Printer Field Service Technician role at Pacific Office Automation involves providing technical support and repair services for office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines. This position is field-based, primarily serving the Greater Phoenix area, and requires strong communication and troubleshooting skills to ensure customer satisfaction and effective problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repairing office equipment (copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.)
  • Providing high-quality technical support to our customer base
  • Communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Developing options to solve unusual problems
  • Managing time, resources, and territorial considerations

Requirements

  • Certification and/or hands-on experience with product lines such as Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Canon, Sharp, Oce, Lexmark, HP
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong relationship management skills with customers, vendors, and employees
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills with digital office equipment
  • Effective organizational skills and good judgment in managing priorities
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to seek out relevant information for timely decisions
  • Strong ethics and ability to work collaboratively as a team member
  • Strong computer literacy; Fiery/controller experience is a plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work extra hours as necessary
