About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Copy Doctor serves as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience while assisting with orders and self-service printing needs. This full-time role requires a friendly and self-motivated individual with commercial printing experience to effectively address customer inquiries and complaints, manage transactions, and support various printing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and attend customers as soon as they walk into Copy Doctor.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Address customer complaints and seek the input of the Manager when matters cannot be resolved.
  • Assist customers in the self-service area.
  • Check out customers at the cash register.
  • Fill job order sheet per Copy Doctor procedure.
  • Develop estimates and quotations using the Point of Sale System.
  • Call customers to gather input to quote a print job and notify them when jobs are ready.
  • File completed jobs.
  • Create shipping labels.
  • Print basic orders.
  • Finish jobs by cutting, binding, punching, laminating, and folding.
  • Perform store closing activities such as organizing and cleaning.

Requirements

  • 1 year of commercial printing experience
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED
  • Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Professional, personable phone etiquette
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
