About the position

The Prisma Cloud Solution Architect at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for building influential relationships with key technical decision-makers at customer organizations. This role focuses on educating customers about industry trends, showcasing security best practices, and acting as the technical voice of sales for cloud security solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration with account managers and local partners to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction in the realm of cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with your Account Manager and local partners.
• Educate customers about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape.
• Showcase security best practices and desired outcomes by building technical proof of concepts.
• Act as the technical voice of Sales for security and compliance in Public Cloud environments.
• Develop relationships with technical teams in channel partners for successful deployments.
• Convey customer feedback to Product Management and R&D to influence product features.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of technical sales or equivalent experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform security features and services.
• Background in cloud security is highly preferred.
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
