About the position

The Privacy Analyst at AEG will play a crucial role in managing and administering the company's instance of OneTrust, a private cloud service designed to facilitate various privacy functions. This position requires a proactive individual who will lead projects to implement OneTrust modules and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for deployment and troubleshooting. The Privacy Analyst will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across AEG Worldwide, including Legal, Marketing, IT/Digital, and Business Applications teams, to ensure the effective scaling of privacy programs from a technical perspective. In this role, the Privacy Analyst will be responsible for serving as the system administrator for OneTrust, managing requests for system configuration changes, user access, and general support. The analyst will also act as a liaison between AEG and OneTrust or AEG's consulting group for issue escalation, product ideas, and project resource management. The position involves significant participation in the global implementation of various OneTrust modules, such as Cookie Consent, Mobile App Consent, and Privacy Impact/Data Mapping Assessment. Additionally, the analyst will maintain various OneTrust modules by performing tasks like cookie re-scans and user access reviews, and will be responsible for maintaining data sources for automated reports on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as system administrator for OneTrust, a cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to facilitate a variety of Privacy functions.
  • Intake and manage requests for system configuration changes, user access, and general support.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting issues within OneTrust.
  • Act as a liaison between AEG and OneTrust or AEG's consulting group for issue escalation, submitting product ideas, and project resource management.
  • Participate heavily with the global implementation of various OneTrust modules, such as Cookie Consent, Mobile App Consent, and Privacy Impact/Data Mapping Assessment.
  • Maintain various OneTrust modules in use by performing tasks such as cookie re-scans and user access reviews.
  • Maintain data sources for automated reports on a scheduled cadence.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Information Technology, Marketing, or Legal (Advanced Degree Preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in information technology or data/information privacy governance management, including supporting e-commerce or CRM-focused initiatives.
  • Experience with privacy SaaS platform, OneTrust.
  • Project/Program Management experience.
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives for CASL, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, GDPR.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current data protection and privacy legislation in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
  • Understanding the role privacy has in supporting internal and commercial marketing activities and internal employee privacy in a large enterprise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytics skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to build relationships across large and complex organizations.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
