About the position

As a Privacy Analyst at OrangePeople, you will play a crucial role in supporting the privacy and protection requirements of our client, a leading global social media company based in the Bay Area. This position requires a deep understanding of privacy regulations and the ability to communicate these requirements effectively across various stakeholders. You will be responsible for conducting incident investigations and responding to escalations and high-visibility issues that may arise. Your role will involve navigating complex scenarios that require problem-solving skills, often with limited information, and collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify and resolve gaps in privacy compliance. In addition to incident response, you will be expected to present information clearly and factually, relying on credible sources rather than assumptions. When confidence in the information is not absolute, it is essential to communicate any gaps transparently. You will also be responsible for escalating issues to the appropriate parties for direction or decision-making as necessary.
