About the position

As a Privacy Analyst at Booz Allen, you will leverage your privacy expertise to provide practical guidance that supports innovation and drives business value. Your role will involve maintaining records of processing through privacy impact assessments, data maps, and risk assessments, while also assisting in incident response and privacy inquiries. You will work collaboratively with corporate and business teams to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and address common privacy challenges, all while adhering to Booz Allen's values and mission.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the firm's records of processing through privacy impact assessments, data maps, and risk assessments.
• Assist in incident response, data subject access requests, and privacy inquiries.
• Support corporate and business teams in the efficient adoption of new technology.
• Identify and address common privacy issues within the organization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with privacy or information security in a professional or nonprofit environment.
• Knowledge of privacy laws and standards, including GDPR, CCPA, NIST Privacy Framework, and FTC regulations.
• Ability to support privacy assessments and identify privacy matters.
• Ability to translate technical advice into clear and direct business solutions.
• Ability to execute against clear objectives, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• IAPP Privacy Certification such as CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cybersecurity, legal, or audits, including NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI.
• Experience supporting incident response.
• Experience with federal contracting.
• Knowledge of privacy automation software such as OneTrust.
