The Privacy Associate position offers a unique opportunity for experienced attorneys to join a dynamic law firm specializing in data privacy. The role involves providing legal advice and counsel on various aspects of consumer and employee privacy, managing compliance projects, and advising clients on data protection issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy laws and regulations, along with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage data privacy compliance projects.
• Draft privacy policies and notices.
• Draft or advise on data protection agreements.
• Conduct data mapping and advise on consumer consent workflows.
• Advise on technical website/app and digital marketing issues such as cookies and targeted ads.
• Conduct data protection impact assessments and respond to data subject requests.

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of consumer and employee privacy experience.
• Experience in managing data privacy compliance projects.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Achieved the IAPP's Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designation in at least one category.
