About the position
The Privacy Business Analyst role is focused on conducting the Enterprise Change Risk Privacy Impact Assessment (CTR-54921) to ensure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations. This position is critical for mitigating risks associated with noncompliance and requires a specialized skill set in privacy risk and compliance program design. The role is hybrid, based in Charlotte, NC, and offers a pay range of $60-70 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform CTR-54921, Enterprise Change Risk Privacy Impact Assessment.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations including TCPA, CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, FCRA/FDCPA, HIPAA/HITECH, COPPA, and Dodd-Frank.
- Address the lack of capacity for additional work due to current engagements and BAU control activities.
- Utilize specific skills in privacy risk and compliance program and control design.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience working in data privacy at a financial institution, fintech, or insurance company.
- Specific skill set in privacy risk and compliance program and control design.
Nice-to-haves
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- IAPP CIPP (or CIPM) certification or similar foundations of privacy training.
- PMP certification would be helpful.
- Experience leading a project from end to end.
- Experience completing privacy impact assessments.
