About the position

The Privacy Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) to ensure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations. This role is critical in mitigating risks associated with noncompliance and requires a specialized skill set in privacy risk and compliance program design.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) as needed within service level agreement timeframes.
  • Perform CTR-54921, Enterprise Change Risk Privacy Impact Assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations including TCPA, CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, FCRA/FDCPA, HIPAA/HITECH, COPPA, and Dodd-Frank.
  • Collaborate with existing contractors and employees to manage workload effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience working in data privacy at a financial institution, Fintech, or insurance company.
  • Specific skill set in privacy risk and compliance program and control design.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • IAPP CIPP (or CIPM) certification or similar foundations of privacy training.
  • PMP certification would be helpful.
  • Experience leading a project from end to end.
  • Experience completing privacy impact assessments.
