About the position

The Privacy Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to privacy regulations and best practices. This position is primarily responsible for facilitating the completion of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), which are essential for identifying and mitigating privacy risks associated with business processes and data flows. The analyst will analyze and document these processes, ensuring that all data handling practices comply with relevant privacy laws, including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Privacy Compliance Analyst will track project progress, conduct data analyses, and create training documentation to educate staff on privacy compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of privacy regulations and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders. The analyst will also be expected to manage tasks efficiently and contribute to the overall privacy governance framework of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build trust and credibility within a large organization. They should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as a self-starter. A strong background in data governance, project management, and the software development life cycle (SDLC) is preferred, as these skills will enhance the analyst's ability to navigate the complexities of privacy compliance in a dynamic business environment.
