About the position

This position is responsible for actively supporting and coordinating HCSC Privacy Office operations and initiatives. Key responsibilities include gathering privacy-related data, managing the Privacy Office database, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The role involves collaboration across departments to resolve issues and disseminate regulatory information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate HCSC Privacy Office operations and initiatives.
• Gather privacy case, incident, contract, privacy risk, and compliance data.
• Develop and analyze regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Manage the Privacy Office database and disseminate information from various sources.
• Track and report on regulatory initiatives under federal and state laws.
• Distribute regulatory information via intranet and internet websites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of the health care industry.
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and listening skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers to resolve issues.
• Problem resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in PC applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
