About the position

The Private Client Account Executive at Marsh McLennan Agency is responsible for managing and maintaining client insurance programs, ensuring superior service and client satisfaction. This role involves acting as the primary contact for clients and producers, processing necessary documentation, and providing consultative support to meet client needs. The position requires strong teamwork, technical expertise in insurance, and the ability to analyze and recommend insurance solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact with the Producer and/or Client.
  • Process documents necessary to maintain the Client Insurance Program.
  • Conduct new business placement and cross-selling as needed.
  • Initiate correspondence with the marketplace and ensure proper processing of requests.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and analyze situations to make proactive decisions.
  • Prepare and obtain pre-renewal updates for all clients.
  • Create Acord applications and utilize carrier websites for pricing policies.
  • Prepare proposals or summaries for renewal terms and issue Acord Insurance Binders.
  • Initiate premium payment requests and prepare policies for delivery to clients.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and manage accounts receivables.
  • Delegate tasks to Account Manager and outsourcing teams as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and monitor usage and quality of outsourcing teams.
  • Build and maintain carrier and broker relationships and negotiate with carriers.
  • Coordinate, present, and attend client meetings, including mid-year and renewal meetings.
  • Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Licensed Texas P&C Agent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Private Client Account Executive experience preferred
  • Obtain relevant insurance designations or have 15 years of experience as an Account Executive
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours to meet client needs
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies
  • Demonstrate proactive work style and ability to service clients effectively
  • Experience in client-facing roles and ability to present to clients
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with employees at various levels
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and represent the agency competently.

  • Experience with premium analysis software

  • Ability to travel to meet client service needs when necessary.
