About the position

The Private Client Advisor role at Marsh McLennan Agency involves supporting a high-volume book of business for Private Client clientele. This hybrid position focuses on delivering exceptional client service, managing complex risks, and developing new business through referrals and expanded client programs. The advisor will work closely with experienced colleagues to enhance their skills and contribute to the agency's success.

Responsibilities

  • Review client exposures, loss experience, and current coverages, recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Present clients with accurate market data to advise on complex risks.
  • Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating and evaluating client needs and responding to inquiries.
  • Gather information from clients regarding risk management needs and financial loss tolerance, proposing solutions to manage risk.
  • Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and conduct annual Client Advisory reviews.
  • Accountable for client retention through exceptional service and new business development through referrals.
  • Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options while adhering to industry regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' personal lines insurance experience with High Net Worth clientele.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
  • Client service orientation with a balance on managing expectations.
  • Ability to travel for client and company meetings as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, CPRIA, etc.
  • Previous relationships with luxury carriers like AIG, Chubb, PURE.
