About the position

The Private Client Banking Relationship Manager (PCBRM) is tasked with enhancing client satisfaction through proactive business development and effective portfolio management within the Private Client Banking sector. This role is pivotal in driving loan, deposit, and revenue growth while managing complex financial solutions and transactions. The PCBRM serves as the primary relationship manager, ensuring the delivery of all JFG products and services to high-value clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an individual business plan for new client acquisition and portfolio growth.
  • Achieve significant growth in core banking portfolios, including loans and deposits.
  • Deliver a distinctive client experience by leveraging JFG's unique value proposition.
  • Articulate and discuss all aspects of JFG's business offerings and financial industry trends.
  • Understand clients' financial objectives through a consistent discovery process.
  • Collaborate with JFG Business Partners to provide tailored solutions and expand client relationships.
  • Manage complex financial solutions in deposit and credit products, ensuring effective communication and administration.
  • Utilize the JFG CRM system for managing client relationships effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a client-facing business development role within the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated credit skills and understanding of cash flow management, balance sheets, income statements, and tax return analysis.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, business management, or a relevant field preferred; work experience may substitute for education.
  • Relevant certifications such as CFP, CWS, CFTA, CFA, ChFC, and/or FINRA licenses are highly desired.
  • Advanced designations like CFP, CWS, CFTA, CFA, ChFC, CPA, or JD are required for experienced Private Client Banking Relationship Managers.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products and JFG Operating systems.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required under the Safe Act of 2008.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial planning in conjunction with Wealth Management advisors.
