About the position

The Private Client Banking Relationship Manager (PCBRM) is tasked with enhancing client satisfaction through proactive business development and portfolio management for high-value clients in the Private Client Banking sector. This role is pivotal in driving loan, deposit, and revenue growth while managing complex financial solutions and transactions. The PCBRM serves as the primary relationship manager, ensuring the delivery of all JFG products and services to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of an individual business plan to achieve new client acquisition and business line referrals.
  • Responsible for significant growth in core banking portfolios and revenue growth.
  • Deliver a distinctive client experience leveraging the unique value proposition through referrals of investment management and financial planning services.
  • Articulate and discuss all aspects of business offerings and financial industry topics.
  • Understand client's financial objectives through a consistent discovery process.
  • Collaborate to deliver appropriate products and services integrating personal and corporate services.
  • Match prospect needs with JFG Business Partners to provide solutions and expand relationships.
  • Manage complex financial solutions in deposit and credit products, including communication and ongoing administration of client relationships.
  • Utilize the JFG CRM system effectively for managing client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in the financial industry in a client-facing business development role.
  • Demonstrated credit skills and understanding of cash flow management, balance sheets, income statements, and tax return analysis.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, business management, or a relevant area of study preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Relevant certifications such as CFP, CWS, CFTA, CFA, ChFC, and/or FINRA licenses are highly desired.
  • Advanced designation of CFP, CWS, CFTA, CFA, ChFC, CPA, or JD required for experienced Private Client Banking RM's.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to utilize JFG Operating systems effectively.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial planning in concert with Wealth Management advisors.
