About the position

As a Private Client Relationship Manager at Citizens, you will engage with affluent and high-net-worth clients to provide personalized financial planning and advice. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of financial advisors to help clients achieve their financial goals through tailored banking and lending solutions. The position emphasizes building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a best-in-class client experience, and leveraging a client-centric approach to financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire qualified, new-to-wealth relationships through leads and by developing internal and external referral sources.
  • Perform regular, proactive outreach to manage, deepen and retain client relationships, creating remarkable experiences.
  • Conduct thorough discovery to understand family dynamics, goals, objectives, and current financial situations.
  • Engage with Certified Financial Planners and Financial Advisors to create and analyze clients' financial plans.
  • Introduce appropriate opportunities to segment partners based on clients' financial goals.
  • Provide regular, value-added engagement with clients through high-touch meetings and consistent communication.
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM tool to document client interactions in detail.
  • Build an activity-based business development plan centered around proactive outreach and follow-up behaviors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or 3-5 years relevant equivalent experience.
  • SIE, Series 6 (or 7), 63 (or 66), and Life and Health Insurance Licenses; at least two licenses required.
  • Demonstrated success in a client-centric, proactive sales environment.
  • Experience in cultivating relationships and success in new client acquisition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in planning, banking, lending product referrals and sales, and investment referrals.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and internal partners.
