About the position

The Private Client Relationship Manager at Webster Bank is a strategic role focused on serving affluent clients within the Consumer Bank. This position acts as a single point of contact for clients, driving growth in deposits, investment revenue, and loan balances. The role involves developing and maintaining a Private Client Banking book of business, managing relationships, and providing personalized banking solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a single point of contact for affluent clients in the Mass Affluent segment.
  • Drive deposit growth, investment revenue, and outstanding loan balances.
  • Develop and maintain a Private Client Banking book of business through networking.
  • Identify and solicit clients using referrals and personal contacts.
  • Achieve growth targets across deposits, wealth revenue, and consumer lending.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activities and sales achievements.
  • Develop comprehensive banking solutions and strategies for clients.
  • Partner with Consumer Banking, Business Banking, and Wealth Management to deepen client relationships.
  • Build client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Maximize team profitability by enhancing sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Participate in community organizations to develop strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Financial services industry experience in corporate, consumer, mortgage, investments, brokerage, or private client banking.
  • Proficiency in sales and service techniques including telemarketing and networking.
  • Investment sales experience strongly preferred.
  • FINRA Series 6/7 and state registration (63, 65, or 66) required within 7 months if not currently registered.
  • Life and Health License achievement must be completed within 7 months if not currently licensed.
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience.
