About the position

The Private Dining Room Sales Manager at InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta is responsible for overseeing the sales and booking process for private dining spaces and full restaurant buyouts. This role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, coordinating events, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests. The position requires strong sales expertise, organizational skills, and attention to detail to drive revenue and deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales and booking process for private dining rooms and full restaurant or terrace buyouts
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to drive private dining sales and ensure repeat business
  • Coordinate all aspects of private dining events, including menu selection, room setup, and service requirements
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus and unique dining experiences tailored to individual client needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the event
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of private dining events, including timely communication and coordination
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive private dining business growth
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts to management
  • Maintain accurate records of private dining bookings, contracts, and client information
  • Collaborate with marketing and promotional efforts to raise awareness and generate interest in the private dining offerings
  • Stay updated on the restaurant's offerings, menus, and services to effectively promote and upsell private dining experiences
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to expand the restaurant's private dining clientele.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years sales or catering related experience in a luxury setting is required
  • A degree in a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel and food & beverage operations preferred
  • Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred
