About the position
The Private Dining Sales Manager at The Boathouse Orlando is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of private dining events, adhering to the Gibsons Restaurant Group's core beliefs of Hospitality, Quality, and Value. This role involves managing sales programs, overseeing event execution, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing sales and support programs to achieve annual sales objectives.
- Oversee private dining events to maximize sales potential and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained for positive customer experiences.
- Promote a 'no-compromise' attitude towards Hospitality, Quality, and Value among staff and managers.
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints to ensure repeat business and customer happiness.
- Maintain safe and secure working conditions for staff and protect restaurant assets.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations as directed by management.
- Uphold the standards of the Gibsons Restaurant Group and preserve the concept's DNA.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in a restaurant environment, with at least one year in a management role preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic math skills including addition, multiplication, subtraction, and percentages.
- Ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.
