Responsibilities
- Transferring and positioning of the client
- Observing and reporting changes in physical and mental conditions
- Assisting in applying over-the-counter lotions to prevent dry skin
- Cleaning and maintaining medical equipment such as power wheelchairs and hospital beds
- Accompanying clients on errands such as grocery shopping and doctor appointments
- Preparing and cleaning after meals
- Performing basic home chores like sweeping, mopping, and laundry
- Providing personal care assistance including toileting and bathing
- Engaging in companionship and conversation with clients
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years of related caregiving experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift 50 LBS
