About the position

Alter Domus is seeking a Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager to join our Private Equity Fund Services Team in Woods Cross, UT. This hybrid position requires working in the office twice a week, totaling eight days a month. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements, investor statements, and other essential documents such as K-1s, capital calls, and distributions. The role involves entering daily and monthly deliverables, including recording journal entries, processing wires, and reconciling trades. Client interaction is a key aspect of this position, as building and maintaining strong client relationships is essential to meeting deadlines and ensuring satisfaction. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating effectively with team members and managers, addressing any questions or issues that arise during client work. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor statements.
  • Prepare contribution/redemption confirmations, K-1s, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Enter daily and monthly deliverables by recording journal entries and processing wires.
  • Post and reconcile trades as part of the accounting process.
  • Enhance client relationships through effective communication and timely delivery of services.
  • Handle other duties as required to support the team and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (BA or MAcc) or finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive follow-through on commitments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Personal and professional integrity with a strong work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in accounting is preferred but not necessary.
