About the position

The Private Equity Investor Product Strategy Analyst at Blackstone plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing and fundraising efforts for the firm's private equity funds. This position involves preparing detailed investment reports, assisting in the marketing cycle, and facilitating investor presentations, all while collaborating with various internal teams to ensure effective communication and data-driven insights for investors.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze detailed investment reports for accurate and timely delivery to investors.
  • Assist with the marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept to closing of investor capital commitments.
  • Facilitate the creation and refinement of investor presentations for impactful communication.
  • Coordinate and review investor due diligence requests and assist with investor queries.
  • Participate in the preparation of conference/webinar materials, pitch books, and performance memos.
  • Collect and analyze key metrics for bespoke fund performance analyses.
  • Draft presentations and analyses for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the broader strategy team across marketing, deal teams, sales, finance, and legal.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline with a strong academic record.
  • 1+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, transaction services, investment operations, strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a strong analytical and quantitative background.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in private equity or alternative asset management.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
