The Private Events Manager at Artisanal Brewing Ventures (ABV) is a pivotal role focused on driving taproom sales and business development while overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of private events across three Chester County locations: Downingtown, Parkesburg, and Kennett Square. This position requires a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience and a passion for culinary excellence. The Private Events Manager will be responsible for soliciting and promoting guest traffic through various marketing strategies, including advertising, cold calling, and building relationships with local businesses. The role also involves setting and achieving sales goals aligned with the taproom's budget, utilizing Tripleseat Event Management software to manage event inquiries and bookings, and being the primary point of contact for clients interested in hosting private events. In addition to sales and event management, the Private Events Manager will inspect event spaces prior to functions, ensuring that room setups, menus, and service staff meet expectations. They will greet clients before events and remain present throughout to assist as needed, while also monitoring and directing staff. The role requires active participation in weekly manager meetings to review upcoming bookings and event requirements, and the manager will be responsible for training staff on event execution standards. Flexibility in schedule is essential, as the Private Events Manager may need to perform duties on and off-site as required.
