About the position

The Private Events Server at MadTree Brewing Company is responsible for creating warm and welcoming experiences for guests during private events. This part-time role requires evening availability and involves serving food and beverages, setting up and tearing down event spaces, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The position emphasizes community involvement and sustainability, aligning with MadTree's mission to connect people to nature and each other.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm and welcoming experience to all Private Event & MadTree guests, resolving any concerns or issues as needed.
• Set up event space prior to events, including linens, service-ware, glassware, and event bars, either individually or as a team.
• Provide food and beverage service during events according to the expectations set by the PE Lead or PE Captain.
• Bus dishes and glassware from tables as guests complete each course and/or meal throughout the event.
• Perform post-event bar teardown, cleaning, and room configuration, either alone or as a team.
• Participate in paid volunteer initiatives for MadTree Impact, spending a minimum of four hours a year.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a bartender, server, or in private event hospitality.
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, with familiarity in standard drink recipes.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of craft beer can be a distinct advantage.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
