About the position

The Private Events Service Team Member at The Edison Restaurant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during private events. This part-time position involves setting up event spaces, providing attentive service to guests, and ensuring food safety and presentation standards are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and passionate about hospitality, contributing to the restaurant's reputation for memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Private Event Setup: Setting up tables, chairs, linens, and buffet stations according to event specifications.
• Create visually appealing food displays on buffet lines.
• Check and stock servingware, glassware, and utensils.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout the event.
• Serve food and beverages, either from buffet lines or as plated meals.
• Anticipate guest needs and address concerns promptly and professionally.
• Pour beverages, including water, wine, and cocktails, as required.
• Ensure proper food handling practices to maintain food safety standards.
• Maintain the quality, freshness, and presentation of food throughout the event.
• Replenish food items on buffet lines as needed.
• Pass Hors d'Oeuvres.
• Clear tables, remove dirty dishes, and properly dispose of waste.
• Disassemble buffet stations and clean equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the event space.
