Private Practice Optometrist

About the position

The Private Practice Optometrist at Progressive Eye Care is responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to patients in South Jordan, UT. This role offers flexibility as it can be part-time or full-time, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment and delivering excellent patient care. The optometrist will perform various primary eye care and therapeutic treatments, collaborating with a passionate team to meet individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary eye care and full-scope therapeutic treatments.
• Assist patients with glaucoma treatments, fitting scleral and specialty lenses, and dry eye services.
• Support ortho-k and myopia control and co-manage LASIK and cataracts.
• Create a welcoming environment for patients.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent eye care services.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Optometry
• Utah Doctor of Optometry license
• Ability to practice full-scope optometry
• 2+ years of experience in optometry (preferred but not required)
• Passion for the field and a desire to help others
• Desire to grow skills and stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
