About the position

The CIBC Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with valuable work experience that complements their academic training and career aspirations. Interns will work closely with Family Office Executives, gaining technical and analytical skills while participating in networking and community outreach activities. The program runs for 10 weeks from June to August 2025, offering mentorship and leadership support to ensure a meaningful summer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support clients by working with Family Office Executives.
• Participate in community outreach activities.
• Engage in networking with employees and fellow interns.
• Gain technical and analytical skills through hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is required.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential.
• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in accounting and investment performance reporting is a plus.
