About the position
As a PRN Caregiver Aide at Belmont Village, you will provide essential personal assistance to seniors in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy engaging with older adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents.
- Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and well-being.
- Document care and services provided daily by following customized service plans and communicating to supervisor any observed changes in care needs.
- Ensure care, safety and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance.
- Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
- Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider.
- Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- At least one year of direct care experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care or Skilled Nursing community.
- Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a shared goal.
- Self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Observant, dependable, adaptable and respectful.
