About the position

The PRN Caregiver position at Home Instead involves providing essential in-home care services to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Caregivers will engage in various activities, including companionship, personal hygiene assistance, and light housekeeping, while also having the flexibility to choose their work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
• Assist with mobility and light exercise
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Occasionally transport clients for errands, outings, and appointments

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience or current certification as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP
• Valid driver's license and vehicle with insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care
