About the position

The PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) position at Enhance Rehabilitation involves working under the guidance of an occupational therapist to assist in the treatment of patients. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans to ensure quality care and excellent functional outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs with the assistance of the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.

Requirements

• Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
