PRN Community-Based Paraprofessional

About the position

The PRN Community-Based Paraprofessional at Youth Villages plays a crucial role in supporting youth and families by providing transportation and supervision during visits. This position is integral to the organization's mission of implementing research-based treatment philosophies in children's mental and behavioral health, ensuring that families receive the necessary support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Transports and supervises youth and families.
• Conducts and interacts in supervised visits.
• Coordinates transports and supervised visits.
• Maintains all appropriate contract-required documentation for transportation and visits.
• Provides required daily/weekly reports to the referral source and Youth Villages supervisor.
• Maintains professional communication with referral sources.
• Conducts ongoing assessments as outlined by the referral source and Youth Villages.
• Teaches and demonstrates parenting skills.
• Engages in required trainings to learn and maintain skills.
• Provides other support duties as outlined by the Team Leader.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and required car insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a related field preferred but not required.
