About the position
The PRN Mobile Crisis Specialist at The Affiliated Santé Group is responsible for providing crisis intervention services in the community. This role involves assessing and evaluating clients in crisis, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with families and community partners to ensure effective support and care. The position emphasizes the importance of empathetic and life-saving care, aiming to help individuals heal and thrive within their communities.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-scene assessments and diagnostic impressions upon entry to community situations.
- Effectively perform crisis intervention techniques, including de-escalation and crisis planning.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients in crisis.
- Design appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources.
- Collaborate with police, first responders, and other community agencies as needed.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation of interventions and assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field with at least one year of professional experience, or a Master's Degree in the same fields with two years of related experience.
- Current licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW or LMSW-C possible LM).
- Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
Nice-to-haves
