About the position
The position at Genoa Healthcare involves working as a pharmacist within a collaborative care team dedicated to serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. Responsibilities
- Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provide information to customers about medications and their use
- Maintain a solid focus on providing a superior level of customer service
- Log data into the computer
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administer immunizations as allowed by state boards of pharmacy
- Perform any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- Current pharmacist's license in the state of Iowa
- Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of being hired
