About the position

The PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Enhance Rehabilitation plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a physical therapist. This position involves assisting in the treatment of patients by implementing individualized therapy plans and ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's specific needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients and document their conditions and responses in charts after each visit.
• Maintain continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Requirements

• Qualified physical therapy assistant certification.
• Ability to work under the guidance of a physical therapist.
• Strong communication skills to discuss treatment with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment techniques and equipment.
